Digipak progress

Here is an image of my digipak in progress:

I currently have the front cover and the back cover done, and will be adding the other two images later on.

Progress update

Will be taking photos of artist this week or weekend. These photos will be added to my website and digipak. Will also be filming the final narrative clips this weekend and a small filler clip between verse 1 and 2. I will also have to update my website plan with an updated logo for the artist, since I cannot use the artist's existing one.

Evaluation plan

Question 1

Prezi
Write about video, from planning through to production, and give examples of how my video follows and challenges codes and conventions. Repeat the same process for the ancillary tasks. Include pictures of my products and existing products to make comparisons.

Question 2

Padlet/Glogster
Discuss the house style I have applied to my products and the reasons behind it. Other information about how the combinations of my products help to sell the package and how they communicate the genre.

Question 3


Explain the purpose of audience feedback and why it is important. Give positive and negative comments from peers and focus groups, possible use of evidence of the audience reactions. State how this feedback has benefited me and what it has taught me about the process.

Question 4

Blog post
State the media technologies I have used throughout the process, how I have applied them to each section of the process, and give advantages and disadvantages of each one. Explain how my skills have improved with these technologies. Use pictures of the softwares in use.

Website progress update

As you can see the layout of this website is very different to the basic plan I posted earlier; however, I am very pleased with how the site looks currently. There are still things to change like minor layout changes and the photos. The images used are images of the actual artist and are placeholders to get a feel for how the website will look. Photos of the actor I used in my video will be taken and added in later. The logo at the top of the page must also be changed because that is Logic's current logo which I took an image of from the internet, so I must make up my own idea for the logo, most likely using a similar style to the rest of the website and the style of the artist in general.

Not bad so far Harrison- the narrative is clear and the lip synching is done well. which considering the pace of the piece is impressive. I would say the major things for me to work on would be the lighting and quality of the house footage- potentially could you re-film this or make this clearer some how? I also need to have a look at dubbing the bad language!
